Explain progress, means of achieving objectives and limits of assistance so that clients can understand a matter and make decisions.

 Principle · Law and employment

## Core concepts
Decisions and consent: identify matters requiring client judgment
Progress: manage status updates and reasonable information requests
Understandable explanations: explain choices and limits of assistance

## Application
Separate established facts, unknowns, possible choices and decisions for the client in consultation notes. The connection to labor advice is an editorial application proposal.

## Limitations and jurisdiction
ABA Model Rule 1.4 is a US model rule, not binding current law in Korea or every jurisdiction. Actual duties and case-specific advice require separate verification.

## Editorial perspectives
Accuracy: state conditions and unverified points.
Understanding: check whether the client understands the implications of choices.
